A number of neologisms are needed in order to describe the unique strategies adopted by Academia in order to secure legitimacy as an “objective” scientific endeavor:
Methodocism: The use of Method in order construct validity regardless of content.
Scientoism: The posture of academia. The medium that bears the message of objectivism.
Academoclast: An academia Iconoclast. An unqualified, uncredentialed, untenured critic of academia.
Particuversity: A university focused on the particular rather than the universal, on particulars rather than a unifying general conception, should no longer bear the title “univers-ity”, but should be called “particu-versity”.
